Yeshua

Yeshua
By Ace Orense

“Yeshua” is Aramaic for the name “Jesus”.
Yeshua or Jesus means “God saves”.
He is Emmanuel which means “God with us”.
Yeshua, Jesus Christ, is the God who died for man.
Yeshua is Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Yeshua is God the Son, the Second Person of The Holy Trinity, Three Divine Persons in One God, The One True God.
He is the only begotten Son of God the Father Yahweh.
Yeshua is the Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One of God, and the Holy One of God.
Yeshua is the Messiah, the Savior of man, prophesied by the prophets such as David, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zachariah, and many others who has foretold of the coming of the Lord.

Christ is the Creator of all things.

“For through him, all things were made, and all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made”.
John 1:3

Yeshua is the Lamb of God.
Yeshua is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
Yeshua is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.
Yeshua is the Prince of Peace, the Prince of princes, the Wonderful Counselor, the Author of Salvation, and the Everlasting Father.
Yeshua is the Incarnate Word.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. “
He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made that has been made.
In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
John 1:1-4
Yeshua is the immortal Son of God. Though he suffered and died on the cross two thousand years ago, he was resurrected and lives unto life everlasting in heaven, seated at the right hand of the Father.
Yeshua is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
He was the ultimate sacrifice who died as a ransom for men who deserves eternal punishment in hell.
He is the Lamb without blemish, pure and holy,
a sacrifice pleasing and most acceptable to the Father Yahweh.
“For the wages of sin is death.”
Through the first Adam, sin entered into the world.
Through the second Adam, Yeshua, salvation has been given unto man and man was forgiven on account of the blood of Christ Yeshua.

The Birth of Christ Yeshua

In the year 0-4 A.D., on the sixth month, God sent the Angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, in the country of Israel, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.
And when the angel had come to her, he said “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women.
And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for thou hast found grace with God.
Behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and shall bring forth a son; and thou shall call his name Jesus.
He shall be great and shall be called the Son of
the Most High; and the Lord God will give him the throne of David, his father, and he shall be king over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
But Mary said to the angel, “How shall this happen, since I do not know man?”
And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee; and therefore the Holy One to be born shall be called the Son of God.
... But Mary said, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done unto me according to thy word.” And the angel departed from her.
Luke 1:26-38
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
Luke 2:7

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.
John 1:14

There were shepherds in the same district living in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night.
And an angel of the Lord stood by them and the glory of the Lord shone round about them.
And the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which shall be to all the people; for today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you, who is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign to you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.”
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men of good will.”
… So they went with haste, and found Mary and Joseph, and the babe lying in the manger.
Luke 2:8-16

Three kings from the East went to Jerusalem for they have seen the star and they were informed by the angels that the King of the Jews has been born, the Son of God.
They travelled to Jerusalem and offered gifts to the Holy Child, of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
The birth of Jesus Christ is one of the most spectacular events that has ever happened in human history.
The birth of Yeshua is the divine action which allowed God to participate in Sacred Humanity.
God has become one of us. Yeshua is “Emmanuel” or “God with us”.
God the Son became flesh and dwelt among us to redeem man from sin, to open the gates of heaven, and to save the sinners from eternal punishment in hell, and to destroy the works and the power of Satan upon man.
Yeshua’s birth is a divine act of love of God for his creation made upon his very image and likeness, man.
His birth reminds us of the infinite love God has bestowed upon man.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only- begotten Son, and whosoever whom shall believe in him
may not perish, but may have everlasting life.
For God did not send his Son into the world in order to judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him.
He who believes in him is not judged; but he who does not believe is already judged, because he does not believe in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
John 3:16-18

Yeshua is the Lamb of salvation.
He who believes in Him shall merit eternal life in heaven, in the company of God, his holy angels and his saints.
The Lamb of God is Yeshua, our Lord and Master, the Savior of the world, the Son of the living God.

God’s plan of salvation has been carried out through Mary, the Mother of God.
Mary is the mother of Christ, who is God the Son, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity.
As God the Son, Yeshua is God, one with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, Yeshua is God, God the Father Yahweh’s Second Person of Divinity.
This leads to the doctrine that Mary is the Mother of God.
Mary gave birth to the Son of God.
God has no beginning and has no end.
God is infinite and eternal.
God was not created and he exists for eternity.
God is immortal. He cannot die.
Only the body of Yeshua died but he is immortal, as he rose from the dead on his resurrection.
The birth of Jesus Christ is the infinite love of God for man.

The Baptism of Yeshua

Yeshua came from Galilee to John, at the Jordan River, to be baptized by him.
John the Baptist said, “It is I who ought to be baptized by thee, and dost thou come to me?
Jesus answered and said to him “Let it be so now, for so it
Becomes to fulfill all justice.”
Then John the Baptist baptized Yeshua.
After the baptism, Yeshua came up from the water.
And behold, the heavens were opened to Yeshua, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him.
And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

The baptism of Yeshua is his initiation towards his mission of saving man.
He himself was baptized to make an example to be followed by the people of God.
He was baptized by John, for John was a holy man of God, pleasing in the sight of God.
The Holy Spirit descended upon him upon his baptism.
This is to signify that Yeshua truly is the Son of God.
The Father Yahweh announced during Yeshua’s baptism that Yeshua is His one true begotten Son.
“This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Yeshua is the Son of Yahweh, the God of Israel.
Everything that the Son does was what the Father has sent him to do.
He came to fulfill the law and to accomplish what the Father has commanded him.
Yeshua was sent by God to save mankind.

John the Baptist
Yeshua was baptized by John the Baptist, a holy prophet of God.
John is great in the sight of God. He never took wine or any fermented drink. He was filled with the Holy Spirit, even from birth. He brought back many of the people of Israel to the Lord God.
John is in the spirit and power of Elijah.
He turned the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous-to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the desert of Judaea and saying “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
John the Baptist was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
“A voice of one calling in the desert, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”
John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist.
John’s food was locusts and wild honey.
John baptized many people in the Jordan River.
When he saw many of the Pharisees and the Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them:
“You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not think you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tee that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
“I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to bear. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly clean out his threshing floor, and will gather his wheat into the barn; but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.”

John the Baptist prepared the way for the coming of Yeshua, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
John was a holy man of God who preached in the country of Israel of repentance and following God.
John baptized the people of God with water in the Jordan River.
John the Baptist in one of the great prophets sent by God to man.

The Child Jesus

On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise him, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he had been conceived.
When the time of their purification according to the Law of Moses had been completed, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord”) and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: “a pair of doves or two young pigeons.”
Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the Child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required.
Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:
“Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you now dismiss your servant in peace.
For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel.”
The child’s mother and father marveled at what was said about him. Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother:
“This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against., so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.”
There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, and then was a widow until she was eighty-four.
She never left he temple but worshipped night and day, fasting and praying. Coming up to them at the very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about he child to all who were looking forward for the redemption of Jerusalem.
When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth.
And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.
Luke 2:21-40

The Boy Jesus at the Temple
Every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Passover.
When he was twelve years old, they went up to the Feast, according to the custom.
After the Feast was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it.
Thinking he was in their company, they traveled for a day.
Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends.
When they did not find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him.
After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.
Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. When his parents saw him, they were astonished.
His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this?
Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”
“Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” But they did not understand what he was saying to them.
Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart.
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
Luke 2:41-52

The Temptation of Yeshua

Yeshua fasted for forty days and forty nights.
He went to the desert.
He was lead there by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil.
He grew hungry and thirsty.
Then Satan came to him to tempt him.
Satan said “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
Then the devil took him to the holy city and had made him stand on the highest point of the temple.
Satan said “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down ; for it is written, He will give his angels charge concerning thee; and upon their hands they shall bear thee up, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.”
Jesus said to him “It is written further, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.”
Again, the devil took him to very high mountain, and showed them all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them.
Satan said to him, “All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.”
Then Jesus said to him, “Begone, Satan! for it is written, The Lord thy God shalt thou worship and him only shalt thou serve.”
Then the devil left him; and behold, angels cam and ministered to him.
Matthew 4:1-11

Yeshua was tempted by Satan to show and prove that he is obedient to the Father Yahweh and that he is truly the Son of God, worthy of praise, honor, and worship.
Satan has no power over Yeshua.
Satan tempted Yeshua to sway him from his mission of salvation yet he failed for Yeshua is mighty in word and in power and is the true Son of Yahweh, the living God.

Jesus Clears the Temple

When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
To those who sold doves, he said, “Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father’s house into a market!”

The Miracles of Yeshua

Jesus Changes Water to Wine

On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee.
Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”
“Dear woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied, “My time has not yet come.”
His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
Then he told them. “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”
They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine.
He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside and said,
“Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
This, the first of his miraculous signs Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him.

Jesus Heals the Sick

People brought to Jesus all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, the paralyzed, the deaf, the mute, the lame, and the blind, and Jesus healed them all.
Jesus healed many.
Jesus made the blind see by touching their eyes and spitting on the mud and placing it to their eyes.
And by uttering words of command such as “Ephatha”, which means “be opened”.
Jesus made the deaf hear by spitting and putting his fingers into their ears.
Jesus made the mute speak by spitting and putting saliva onto their tongues.
Jesus made the lame walk.

Jesus Casted Away Demons

Jesus casted away demons from those who were possessed.
One instance was when a man, demon-possessed was healed by Jesus.
Many demons possessed this man and their name was “Legion”, for they were many.
Jesus drove out the demons and sent them to a herd of pigs which drowned themselves to the river.
There were many people demon-possessed, who were healed by Jesus by casting the evil spirits away.
The demons confessed and cried out that Jesus is the Son of God.

Jesus fed five thousand and four thousand people on separate occasions. He did this by the miracle of the multiplication of bread and fish.
From the a few loaves of bread and a few fish, he multiplied it, and a few thousand people ate basketfuls of bread and fish.

Jesus Walks on the Water

When the apostles of Jesus were in a boat on the lake during the fourth watch of the night,
they saw Jesus walking on water.
Peter asked Jesus if he could come on the water too.
Jesus said “Come”, and Peter went towards Jesus on the water. When Peter was sinking, Jesus took hold of him, and said, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Jesus Resurrects the Dead

Jesus’ greatest miracles were raising the dead, resurrecting them back to life.

Jesus Raises Lazarus from the Dead

Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb of Lazarus.
It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance.
“Take away the stone,” he said.
“But Lord,” said Martha, the sister of Lazarus, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there for four days.”
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”
So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”
When he said this, Jesus called in aloud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”
The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

Jesus Raises a Widow’s Son

Jesus went to a town called Nin, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out-the only son of his mother, and she was a widow.
And a large crowd from the town was with her. When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, “Do not cry.”
Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still.
He said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!”
The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. They were all filled with awe and praised God.
“A great prophet has appeared among us,” they said.
“God has come to help his people.”
This news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country.

The Teachings of Yeshua

Yeshua taught his disciples how to pray.
Yeshua taught them the Lord’s Prayer, the Our Father.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Yeshua teaches his disciples to love their enemies, to bless those who persecute them and who curse them.
Yeshua taught his disciples the two greatest commandments:
Thou shalt love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.
Thou shalt love your neighbor as yourself.
Yeshua commands his disciples to love one another as he has loved them.
Yeshua teaches his disciples to ask, seek, and knock to God.
‘Ask and it shall be given to you. Knock and it shall be opened to you. Seek and you shall find.’
Yeshua teaches his disciples not to resist an evil person.
‘If someone hits you on the right cheek, offer the left.
If someone takes your cloak give the other. If one makes you run mile go for another one mile.’
Yeshua teaches his disciples not to murder.
Those who are angry at his brother is guilty of sin.
Those who say “You fool”, will be in danger of eternal punishment in the fires of hell.
Yeshua teaches “What profit is it for a man to gain the whole world yet lose his own soul.
Yeshua teaches his disciples that the greatest in the kingdom of heaven should be like a little child, innocent, pure and clean of heart, without malice, pleasing to the Father, like the holy angels.
Yeshua teaches that the greatest in heaven must be the servant of all.
For Jesus came not to be served but to serve.
Jesus said that He and the Father are one.
For the Father and the Son are of one essence,
God, yet distinct.
Jesus taught his disciples many other teachings in the form of parables.
Jesus taught his disciples to give to the poor.
He says, “If thou wilst to be perfect, go sell everything thou hast and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasures in heaven, then come follow me.”

The Cost of Being A Disciple

Jesus called his disciples. The cost of being a disciple is
great but greater are the rewards awaiting for them in heaven.

Matthew 4:19 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”
Matthew19:21 “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
Matthew 16:24-27 “If anyone wishes to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For he who would save his life will lose it; but he who loses his life for my sake will find it. For what does it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, but suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his own soul? For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will render to everyone according to his conduct.”
Luke 14:26-27 If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, and wife and children, and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. And he who does not carry his cross and follow me, cannot be my disciple. Hate: love less. Jesus does not command us to have a feeling of hatred towards our relatives, but teaches that we should not pay attention to their requests if these are detrimental to our spiritual welfare.
Luke 9: 59-62 and he said to another, “Follow me”. But he said, “Lord, let me go first and bury my father.” But Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their dead, but do thou go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” And another said “I will follow thee, Lord; but let me first bid farewell to those at home.” Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” The disciples are to devote themselves without delay and distraction to their higher calling.

The Calling of the Apostles

Yeshua began his mission.
He preached in Israel. He casted away demons.
He healed the sick. He raised and resurrected the dead back to life.
It was then, when he has called his apostles who were fishermen and tax collectors by trade.

As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew.
They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”
At one they left their nets and followed Jesus.
Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in the boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets.
Jesus called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed Jesus.
Matthew 4:18-22

Yeshua also called Levi who is Matthew, son of Alphaeus.
Matthew is a tax collector.
Yeshua went to Matthew. Matthew was sitting at the tax collector’s booth.
“Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.
Mark 2:14

He appointed twelve apostles that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.
These are the twelve apostles:
1. Simon(whom Jesus called Peter)
2. James son of Zebedee
3. John brother of James son of Zebedee
4. Andrew
5. Philip
6. Bartholomew
7. Matthew
8. Thomas
9. James son of Alphaeus
10. Thaddaeus
11. Simon the Zealot
12. Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus

The sons of Zebedee, James and John, were named by Jesus as Boanerges, which means Sons of Thunder.

The twelve apostles accompanied Jesus wherever he goes and preached to the people, healed the sick, casted away demons, and aided Jesus in his ministry of salvation.
The apostles were filled with zeal in serving their Master Jesus.
The three apostles, Matthew, Mark, and John, wrote the three gospels of the New Testament of the Sacred Scriptures as testimonies to the life and works of Jesus Christ.
The eleven apostles except Judas preached into the whole world travelling as far as Asia and Europe proclaiming the Son of God, Jesus Christ, baptizing people of God into his kingdom, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
All twelve apostles, except John the Beloved, whom Jesus loved the most, were martyred.
Saint Peter, the fist Pope of the Holy Roman Catholic Church was crucified upside down.
Some other apostles were also crucified, some clubbed to death, some killed with the sword, some beheaded, some thrown from a high pinnacle.
Only John the Beloved was spared from a brutal death after suffering in the hands of his persecutors.
John was sent to Patmos where he wrote the last book of the Sacred Scriptures, the Book of Revelation.
John due to old age, died in the island of Patmos.

All of these twelve apostles remained faithful and loyal to Jesus except Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus into the hands of the chief priests and the temple guards with thirty pieces of silver.
Satan entered Judas and made him surrender Jesus to the chief priests.
Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss to pinpoint who Jesus was to the men who are to arrest him.
Judas, with his thirty pieces of silver, bought a field where he fell headlong.
Judas ended his life by hanging himself on a tree.
His body burst open and all his intestines spilled out.
The people of Jerusalem called that field Akeldama, the Field of Blood.

After Judas died, and after the death and resurrection of Yeshua, the eleven apostles appointed Matthias, as the twelfth apostle to take the place of Judas who fell away.
It is written in the book of Psalms,
‘Let their habitation become desolate and let there be none to dwell in it. And His ministry let another take.’
Matthias became the thirteenth apostle of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Yeshua Suffers In the Hands of Man

After praying in agony in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus was arrested and was presented to Caiaphas, the high priest of the Sanhedrin.
Afterwards, he was presented to Pontius Pilate and to Herod to be examined and to be judged.
He was then ordered to be crucified by Pontius Pilate as demanded by the crowds of Israel.

The Passion of Christ Yeshua

The soldiers of the procurator took off his clothes for the scourging of his body.
They put on him a scarlet cloak.
Yeshua was flogged by the soldiers with sharp, thorned whips, blood flowing down from his body.
A crown of thorns was plaited on his head, and a reed into his right hand.
His head bled for the crown of thorns was filled with sharp-pointed thorns.
The soldiers bended their knees before him mocking Jesus, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!
The soldiers mocked him and spat on his face.
They struck him on the head again and again with a staff.
The soldiers beat Jesus to the ground.
The soldiers, after a few days of scourging Jesus,
then prepared to crucify him.
Jesus was made to carry a wooden cross from the
place of his imprisonment to Golgotha, where the people witnessed him suffering.
In Golgotha, The Place of the Skull, the executioners nailed Jesus on the wooden cross. His hands and his feet were nailed onto the cross.
The soldiers put above his head the charge against him, written, THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

The Death of Yeshua

From the sixth hour, the year 33 A.D., there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
There were standing by the cross of Jesus his mother, Mary, his mother’s sister, Mary of Cleophas, Mary Magdalene, and John the Beloved.
Yeshua said to Mary, his mother, “Woman, behold thy son.” Then he said to John, “Behold, thy mother.”
And John took Mary, mother of Jesus to his home.
About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabacthani, “that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Jesus then said, “I thirst.”
Jesus said unto the Father, ‘Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.’
Some people at the crucifixion then put a sponge soaked with the wine on a stalk of hyssop and putted it to his mouth. When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is done!”
The sun was darkened and the curtain of the temple was torn in the middle for there was an earthquake.
And Jesus cried out with a loud voice and said, “Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.
With that he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
~According to the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John

The Resurrection of Yeshua

The Resurrected Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene

On the Sunday morning after Jesus’ death, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb of Jesus. She saw that the stone had been removed form the entrance.
She ran to Peter and John the Beloved, saying that Jesus was taken from the tomb and that they do not know where they have put him.
John and Peter ran to the tomb. Peter saw the strips of linen lying there and the burial cloth that had been around Jesus’ head.
The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen.
And so they went home. Mary Magdalene stood outside the tomb crying.
As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb.
She saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been laid, one at the head and the other at the foot.
They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?
“They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.” She turned around and saw Jesus standing there.
She did not realize it was Jesus.
“Woman,” he said, “why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary.”
She turned toward him and cried in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (teacher)
Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.

Jesus Appears to His Disciples

On that Sunday evening, the disciples were together with the doors locked for fear of the Jews.
Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”
After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side.
The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

Jesus Appears to Thomas

The other disciples told Thomas that they have seen the Lord.
Thomas said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it.”
A week later, the disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put you finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed;
blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.

Jesus and the Miraculous Catch of Fish

Afterward Jesus appeared gain to his disciples, by the Sea of Tiberias.
It happened this way: Simon Peter, Thomas(called Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together.
“I’m going out to fish,” Simon Peter told them, and they said, “We’ll go with you.” So they went out and got into the boat, but that night, they caught nothing.
Early in the morning Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.
He called out to them, “Friends, have not you any fish?”
“No,” they answered.
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.”
When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
Then the disciple who Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!”
As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, “It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water. The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards.
When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.
Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.”
Simon Peter climbed aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.
Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.”
None of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish. This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead.

Jesus Ascends Into Heaven

The disciples of Jesus met together for Jesus’ departure.
Jesus was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
The disciples were looking intently up into the sky as he was going,
when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.
“Men of Galilee, they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken form you into heaven,
will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Yeshua has accomplished what the Father had sent him to do, to die on the cross, to open the gates of heaven, to
save the souls of mankind.
Yeshua is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
Yeshua is the ultimate sacrifice for the redemption of man from sin.
Yeshua was obedient to the Father, even unto death.
The death of Yeshua and his crucifixion reminds us of the Son of Man’s infinite love for man.
No greater love can be shown by anyone than the love shown unto us by Our Lord Jesus Christ who is a God who died and laid his life for man.

Second Coming of Yeshua

At the end of the world, Christ Yeshua will come again to earth.
At that end of the world, there will be wars, strife, famine, and pestilence. There will be great earthquakes.
Stars will fall down from the sky.
The sun will be darkened. The moon will be turned into blood.
Nations will rise against nation.

At the end of days, Yeshua will come again and return to earth to
reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Yeshua will wage war upon the Antichrist and his kingdom.
Yeshua will descend with thousands of angels on white horses dressed in white robes of fine linen.
Yeshua, the Lion of Judah, will defeat the Antichrist.
The Beast and the false prophet will be thrown down to the fiery lake of sulfur where they will be tormented forever and ever.
Then Satan will be chained and imprisoned in the Abyss for a thousand years.
Yeshua will triumph.
Yeshua will reign on earth with his saints for a thousand years.
After one thousand years, Satan will once again be released and he will deceive many nations and will gather a vast army from Gog to Magog in the final battle of Armageddon to wage war upon the
Divine Warrior, Jesus Christ, on the final struggle between good and evil, between Yeshua and Satan.
Then God will send fire from heaven to devour Satan and his army.
Then there will be a long era of peace and tranquility on earth under the kingship of Yeshua.
The kingdom of Jesus Christ will have no end.

Then the dead shall be judged on the last judgment.
Death and Hades will give up the dead in them, and the seas and the earth will give up the dead in them.
All the souls of every creature shall be judged by God.
He will separate the sheep from the goats.
The righteous, the sheep, shall be on the right side while the goats, the wicked, shall be on the left.
The righteous shall merit eternal life into the paradise of God, in heaven, in the company of God, the holy angels and the saints.
While the wicked shall be damned into eternal punishment into the lake of fire where they shall suffer and be tormented forever and ever.

God will create new heavens and a new earth for the former things will pass away.
Then a Heavenly Jerusalem will descend from heaven, there the people of God will dwell forever and ever.
God will give it light.
There will be no more death nor suffering nor pain anymore, for the people of God will dwell with God forever.
The Lamb of God shall be their King and will reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever.

Conclusion

Yeshua is God’s gift to man.
Yeshua is the living infinite love of God for man.
Yeshua is seated at the right hand of the Father.
Yeshua will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We await and anticipate his return.
Yeshua will come soon and triumph as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Yeshua is the glorious Son of God.
His kingdom will have no end.

Jesus Is My Shepherd
Composed by:
Ace Orense

Jesus is my shepherd, I shall not want,
He tends the herds in green pastures, I offer him my chant,
From rocky roads and struggles, he rescues me,
From distress and pain, he delivers me,
From storms, lightning and rain, he shelters me,
His love will never wane, deeper than the deepest sea,
More vast than all the galaxies, way more than a billion centuries,
Though I grow weak and weary, I know he cares for me,
Diamonds, gold, and rubies, would never amount to thee,
Bend down all knees before his majesty, Christ most holy,
To God be the glory.
Jesus is my Shepherd,
Whom Shall I fear?
Jesus is my Shepherd,
I know he loves me dear.
Christ laid down his life for us,
We ought to lay down our lives for our brethren,
Coz we all God’s Children,
Love one another, love one another,
Believe in the mighty name of Jesus Christ,
In his presence let us arise,
Your sins have been forgiven on account of him,
Those who obey his commandments
Live in Him and He in them,
Christ has come in the flesh as an atoning sacrifice for our sins,
We live in Him and He in us,
His love is made complete in us,
Son of God, Savior of the world,
Live in love, Live in God,
Believe in Him, Listen to His Word,
Believe in the name of the Son of God,
That you may have eternal life,
He who has the Son has life.
Jesus is my Shepherd,
Whom shall I fear?Jesus is my Shepherd
I know he loves me dear.

Brother Ace is a literary writer.

To date, Ace is still writing many a books for the evangelization of the people of God.

The Mystical Life of Brother Ace:

Brother Ace has always dreamed of being a saint. He desires to become an angel one day. One of his dreams is to go fishing on a boat, on a blue lake with Jesus, his master, the person he loves the most.
Brother Ace first felt the presence of Christ on the year of the Lord, 2002 when he was 22 years of age. The Lord Jesus Christ would speak to Him either as The Santo Nino (The Child Jesus) or as the adult Christ, His dual manifestations. Master Yeshua would speak through Him by a manifestation called divine possession. The Master Yeshua would continually save Brother Ace from perils brought about by Satan and his minions.
And when in the company of little children, Brother Ace would be possessed by The Child Jesus narrating them stories about the Holy Scriptures like Noah’s Ark and preaching to them to be good and to be obedient to their parents.
In the year 2003, Brother Ace went to a faith healer as told by the Master Yeshua. It was the time of the conflict between the Master Yeshua and Satan. The healer roared like a devil and was possessed by Satan Lucifer while Brother Ace was possessed by the Master Yeshua. This was the conversation: Jesus: “Away from my throne.” Lucifer: “I got here first.” Jesus: “You are evil.” Lucifer: “Thanks.” Jesus: “I will explode the Earth for man has become evil.” Lucifer: “Explode it.” Jesus: “1, 2, 3, The Earth will explode (singing)”.
The conversation was said in the Filipino language, in Tagalog.
Then Brother Ace and Jesus left Satan and his medium. Great is the necessity for Brother Ace to preach the gospel to the ends of the Earth for the End of the World is near, Jesus declared it. Latter, the same year, The Master Jesus, once again took possession of Ace for the message of warning. Jesus shouted out furiously to groups of people on the road this ultimate message: “Change, all of you, The Earth will explode!!!” Then Brother Ace was taken to the hospital and was injected by the nurse with Valium.
The devastation of the Earth was prophesied many times in the Holy Bible. To cite a few, read 2 Peter 3:7 by the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of ungodly men. Read 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Isaiah24:1 See, the Lord is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants. Isaiah 24:18-20 The floodgates of heaven are opened, the foundations of the earth shake. The earth is broken up, the earth is split asunder, the earth is thoroughly shaken. The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls-never to rise again. Isaiah 65:17 Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. This is biblical proof to the words of Christ regarding the End of the World.
To continue, Brother Ace was sent to rehabilitation centers for several times for a few months each time because of his strange behavior. He was prescribed to take medicine for depression for an indefinite period of time.
This did not end Brother Ace’s mission for God. February 2007, Brother Ace went to Baclaran Church in the Philippines to hear mass. Then, the angels began to sing through him in angelic tongue. When he went outside, he saw an old woman begging for money. He treated her at McDonald’s a cup of coffee and a piece of hamburger, then gave her 100 pesos. Afterwards, he went outside. He saw a crippled, lame boy begging for alms for it was his birthday, the boy said. Brother Ace suddenly touched the boy’s legs and cried out,”Abba! Abba! Dios! Dios! Dios!” Then, he asked the boy to follow him by walking faster and faster then invoked The Angel Raphael while touching the legs until he made him run and jump. Hallelujah! A miracle performed through the power of God. Not only that, a Muslim policeman saw the miracle and he narrated what happened to two passers by, an old woman and an old man with eye disease. The cop brought the two old folks to Brother Ace. Brother Ace asked the old folks one after the other to open their eyes and not to close it while he blew on his index fingertips while uttering an angelic incantation unknown to him and touched their iris. Afterwards, the old woman’s eyes dropped a lot of tears and said she could see better. The old man could also see well after the healing.
Other accounts of the miracles performed by Brother Ace through the power of Christ: He made two old lame men walk on separate occasions, one in Las Pinas City, February 2007 and one in Pandacan, Manila, March 2007 in the Philippines. He healed an old woman sick with fever in Baclaran, month of February, year 2007. He healed a man with lumps in Cavite, year 2007. He healed his mother from witchcraft, year 2003. He healed a woman from witchcraft, year 2004 in Las Pinas City. He healed a man with a weak aching leg, year 2007 in Valenzuela City. He healed a teen-ager with a foot cramp, year 2007 in Valenzuela City. He casted away an evil spirit from his friend’s body, year 2007 in Las Pinas City. All of these miracles were performed in the Philippines.
These were miracles and living proofs that anyone can be used by God to show His mercy unto those who are sick and who are in need of help.
February 14, 2007, Brother Ace went to a visionary in Las Pinas City, Philippines, who could see and talk to God. The Master Yeshua appeared to the visionary and anointed Brother Ace. Jesus laid His hand on Ace’s head and touched his cheeks, making him smile. Brother Ace felt His presence and his mother even raised her right hand while it occurred. Brother Ace pleaded that God may make Him into an angel. Jesus said yes. He inquired his new name. The visionary spelled out “Cristel”, meaning “Christ is God”. The visionary said that Brother Ace will be the third highest angel and that he will be given two wings of an angel.
That night, holy angels possessed Ace and delivered this message to him and his mother and sister: “Your son will be the Archangel Cristel. Your brother will be the Archangel Cristel”. Ace may become the Archangel Cristel, the Angel of Christ.
Prior to that, the year 2003, a healer told Ace that he is the Angel Gabriel, and because he is good, God will make him God.
And in the year 2008, this message was flashed to Brother Ace while he was praying in the Adoration Chapel at Las Pinas City, Philippines:
“GABRIEL IS YOUR NAME”, with text in red color.
December 2008, a woman possessed by God told Ace that he is already an angel.
She said that Ace is the Angel Gabriel, according to God.
Ace may be the Archangel Gabriel Incarnate or the Archangel Cristel.
The year 2007, Ace met a young man who claims to be an angel.
The young man told Ace that Ace is the fourth coming, meaning the fourth sent, among Moses, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, with Ace being the fourth messenger of God.
Whatever the true identity of Ace is, he is a true servant, prophet, and son of God.
On March 2007, Saint Michael the Archangel spoke to him through him by possession on March 2007. Afterwards, this appeared on his left thigh in red marks: ACE TR 444. “444” is an angelic number for the angels were probably created on the fourth day of creation. This might mean that Ace is or will be an angel.
Brother Ace has mental telepathy, mediumistic capabilities, and telekinetic capabilities. He could talk to people from far away places. He is a medium of Yahweh and Yeshua. He could move small objects by merely pointing at them.
He usually moves flowers held in the hand and moves it by pointing his fingers to it.
On March 16, 2007, He said “Body, show unto me what happened 2,000 years ago.” Then he slapped his forehead to activate his command. Suddenly, his body moved and he appeared to be tortured, whipped, and then crucified while he kept crying, Abba! Abba! Abba! And he was suddenly speaking in Aramaic, re-speaking the words uttered by Christ during his crucifixion. His clothes were taken off during the process with only the underwear left. Afterwards, his palms and toes began to itch, and then triangular nail marks appeared. Ace obtained a bloodless stigmata.
Several years prior to that, this appeared on his left wrist in red marks: “El Yulo” ” El Yulo” when translated means “The Yule”. Brother Ace might be the Yule of the Second Coming of Christ.
The Master, Yeshua will return soon as prophesied by Brother Ace.
God the Father Yahweh manifested Himself to Brother Ace.
Year 2003, Brother Ace was accompanied by his parents to CCF, Christ’s Commission Foundation, a Christian Church in Sucat, Paranaque, Philippines.
There, two women gifted with the Holy Spirit prayed over Ace. When asked to close his eyes, there appeared the vision of God the Father. He was dressed in the cleanest white robe and He was wearing a cone-shaped, spiral, golden crown covering Hid head while a picture of Jesus praying was flashing. The Father has white complexion and His hands are stretched towards me. He was bare-foot. Brother Ace was in perfect bliss and in ecstasy for he has seen the beatific vision. The Lord Yahweh appeared to Ace. He jumped and shouted out for joy. “Blessed are the clean of heart for they shall see God.”
Year 2007, The Father was so angry with the evil of man. He possessed Brother Ace in his house in Las Pinas City, Philippines in the middle of the night and shouted out “Why do you worship money? If the nearby Church will not be filled by people in the morning, there will be an earthquake in Manila!”
Brother Ace went to the nearby Church to inspect if the Church will be filled by mass-goers. At 6am, luckily, the Church was filled by people. Then Yahweh said: “For your sake, I will spare your people.”
Yahweh is The Most High God. He is infinitely good yet he could be provoked to just anger if we would worship other gods. For Yahweh is a Jealous God.
Brother Ace’s heart is always close to the poor. He would often give alms to the poor and when he has money, he would treat them with food. There were a number of occasions when he would give what he has to the needy.
Mark 10:21 “If thou wilt be perfect, go, sell what thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou wilt have treasure in heaven; and come follow me. “
The mystical and supernatural life of Brother Ace has led him in the spirit of prophecy and healing and charity, establishing The Yeshua Movement, the Knights of Christ, and the Sisters of Christ.
He is inspired with a burning love and zeal for God and for his Master Jesus to write books, compose songs, sing praises to God, and pray unceasingly to God.
Brother Ace is a prophet and a servant of The Lord Jesus Christ.
Brother Ace continually serves, honors, magnifies, and glorifies God through his many gifts, his ministry of preaching, prophesying, and healing.
The life of Brother Ace proves that anyone who wishes to serve God will be aided, guided, inspired, and protected by God and his angels.
Servants of God will be exalted and glorified and will be rewarded in heaven, in the company of God, his people, with the angels and the saints.
All those who love and serve the Lord shall be called sons and daughters of God.
